Global OneWater Game

Okay so this is a plug, but a noble one. -GameReclaim “Did you know that 1 billion people in the world don’t have access to clean water? Or that 2 million people die each year as a result of water related diseases?

When we found this out we wanted to do something to change those figures.

Simply buy a bottle of One water – all our profits, every last drop, go to building unique PlayPump® water systems in Africa which improve people’s lives by providing free, clean water. With your help we can make a difference and that’s all we’re trying to do.” - OneWater

It will be also encouraging to the author if we all could share it (for some of us who use bookmarking services such as a digg, twitter,..).

    Thanks again.

We’ve been out to visit the PlayPumps many times and can reassure everybody that the PlayPumps are absolutely loved by the African children. With no other toys, this tends to be the only play equipment they have and in reality, there’s no shortage of kids that want to play! The PlayPump is highly efficient- one hour’s play produces up to 1,400 liters of water. In fact one of the first learnings about PlayPumps was the need for a ‘feedback’ system- with too many keen volunteers it was found more water was being pumped up than the massive 2,500 L storage tank could handle!! Happy playing folks!!!
